Tasveer SSAFF is a 12-day festival of thought-provoking meaningful films & forums on South Asia and its diaspora, to engage its viewers to dialogue openly on the issues of human right and social/political/economic injustice. The festival takes place over 12 days, in 5 cities, with more than 60 films and 5000 festival attendees. It is the largest South Asian film festival in the world.

2nd South Asian International Documentary Festival (SAID) is Tasveer’s newest program and one and only South Asian documentary festival in the country. With submissions from a wide array of South Asian communities, a rich set of subjects are offered. The festival aims to provide our community with quality documentaries that speak directly to the issues relevant to South Asia. Tasveer offers cash prizes for the best feature Documentary and Best short Documentary along with virtual interactions with selected writers and directors.
Aaina: South Asian Womens’ Focus is a festival that celebrates and focuses on the artistic and activist work of South Asian women through performance art, visual art, films, workshops and conversations aimed at highlighting issues critical to the empowerment of SA women.
Yoni Ki Baat (YKB), is a featured program of Aaina, a South Asian adaptation of The Vagina Monologues. It is a growing collection of authentic, bold, powerful and poignant stories told by South Asian women. Seattle YKB has taken on a creative life of its own in a unique space of sharing and community through sourcing and presenting true stories from local South Asian women. Seattle YKB is nationally recognized event among South Asians.
