BOLLYWOOD PANORAMA FILM SERIES- FREE
This event is a part of Eye on India Festival. Presented by Gardner Center for Asian Arts & Ideas, Eye on India Seattle showcases India's cultural and literary picture through interactions with some of the foremost exponents of Indian literature and film. Hosted in partnership with Elliott Bay Books, Tasveer and Teamwork Productions.
All films will be shown in Outdoors at the Volunteer Park Amphitheater (in case of rain, Seattle Asian Art Museum Stimson Auditorium)

Taal (July 22nd)

'Taal' is the story of a young girl (Aishwarya Rai) who lives in a small village Chamba with her family who are folk singers. A young and handsome billionaire (Akshaye Khanna), who comes to visit this place falls in love with her and returns to Bombay after promising to marry her.
The film screening will follow a classical musical performance by Brandon McIntosh (sarod) Chaz Hastings (tabla).
