The Coalition of South Asian Film Festivals (CoSAFF) is a first of its kind event that brings together seven well-established South Asian institutions from across North America.
To celebrate Pride, Tasveer organized a panel discussion focusing on all the things that are usually overlooked in discussions about Pride in the South Asian context. In this event, we touched upon topics of race, how to be better allies, starting and continuing inclusive community dialogue, and more.
At Tasveer, we wanted to take this moment to start a conversation within our community on how South Asians can be better allies and show solidarity to our Black community members.
