SUMMARY:8th Annual Tasveer Gala 2025
DESCRIPTION:For over 23 years\, Tasveer has been a driving force for social change\, using South Asian films\, art\, and storytelling to challenge misrepresentation and inspire truth-telling. What started as a small film screening in 2002 has grown into the only Oscar®-qualifying South Asian film festival in the world! \nNow\, we’re embarking on our most exciting chapter yet—Tasveer has acquired the historic Ark Lodge Cinemas in Columbia City as its new permanent home! For decades\, the Ark Lodge has been a beloved cultural hub\, and we’re committed to preserving its spirit while transforming it into a thriving space for storytelling\, community\, and the arts. \n🎬 This year\, as we celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Tasveer Film Festival & Market (TFFM)\, we need your support. Your contributions will help us:\n✅ Showcase 100+ films\n✅ Create meaningful industry connections\n✅ Break barriers for South Asian and marginalized artists \nStay tuned— Tasveer’s next chapter is HERE! \n✨ Be a part of Tasveer’s next chapter! Join us in shaping a more inclusive\, just\, and artistically vibrant world. Register today and be part of the movement! \n➡️GET YOUR GALA TICKETS HERE: https://givebutter.com/c/givetasveer \n#Tasveer #GiveBig2025 #SouthAsianStories #FilmForChange \nDETAILS \nDATE: May 4\, 2025 \nTIME: 4 PM\, PST \nWEBSITE (for tickets): https://givebutter.com/c/givetasveer
