Tasveer Film & TV Career Awareness Lab

Tasveer, in partnership with a la fresca video productions, is launching the first Tasveer Film & TV Career Awareness Lab. The Lab is an after-school video production program for South Asian high school and college students in the Seattle area. Students accepted into the program will learn about careers in the commercial film industry through a series of virtual workshops. Students will also have in-person opportunities to produce their own creative projects and shadow professionals on a video production company’s working set. This program will prepare South Asian youth in the Seattle area for jobs within the film industry.

The Tasveer Film and TV Career Awareness Lab is recommended for ages 16-21, but all high school-aged and undergraduate college students are welcome. Accepted students will receive a modest stipend, with the amount dependent upon enrollment number. Full curriculum will be provided upon acceptance into the program.
