She edited the award-winning Bangladeshi documentary Threads and made her first short film, Citizenship101, based on her own immigrant experiences.

Anushree Shukla is an actor, voice actor and graduate from the University of Washington’s Informatics Program. Anushree’s love for cinema led her to Mumbai, where she worked as an Assistant Operations Manager for India’s Largest Dubbing Studio – Sound & Vision Studios

Hailing from Pakistan, and raised in the UAE, Amun Chaudhary is a passionate creative whose research and projects interrogate the South Asian cultural and historical landscape, especially as they pertain in the media. Amun has a background in academia, non-profit work, education and community-engaged advocacy

Pat is a Digital Media Specialist at Tasveer, bringing over eight years of diverse marketing experience in social media, branding, campaign management, influencer and affiliate marketing. With a background in IT, and a career shaped by marketing, she blends creativity with data-driven insights to amplify South Asian stories to life.

Anterpreet is a dedicated advocate for human rights, driven by a passion for truth and justice. With a rich background in mental health spanning four years, she brings a unique perspective to her current role at Tasveer. At Tasveer, she thrives in the intersection of programming, connecting filmmakers, and orchestrating impactful events.

Uzma has over 20 years of experience in IT with 15+ years of experience working in Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing, and has most recently been working as a Big Data and Cloud Architect in The Boeing Company.

Vivek “Vik” Bahl received his Ph.D. in English Literature from the University of Texas at Austin, with a focus on ethnic and post-colonial literatures, cultural studies, and social movements. He has taught in the English Division at Green River College since 1998.

Jumana Naguthanawala is a filmmaker and founder of Umbrella Productions LLC, a video production company with a strong commitment to creative storytelling. She is particularly passionate about collaborating with local Non-Profit organizations to amplify their stories and missions through compelling visual media.

Tayyab Mahmud is a Professor of Law at Seattle University. He has published extensively in areas of comparative constitutional law, human rights and international law. He has served as Co-President of Society of American law Teachers (SALT) and as a board member of many non-profit organizations.

Swapnil, originally from India, has been living in the US for a decade. By day, he works in the Software Industry, but his true passion lies in the art of filmmaking. He has dabbled in improv and acts in short films under the stage name Sahil Kini.
