15th Aaina: South Asian Women’s Focus Festival

15th Aaina 2020: The 15th Aaina festival has been canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic concern for the health and safety of our community, except for Yoni ki Baat. Yoni Ki Baat was showcased online via live streaming.. The following statement was issued by the Tasveer Board.

Update: Aaina programs canceled except for Yoni Ki Baat

“We at Tasveer have taken the difficult decision to cancel the 15th Aaina festival which was scheduled for April 12th -14th. We took this decision out of concern for the health and well-being of our community, and in accordance with recommendations released by King County Public Health as of March 4th, 2020. Meanwhile, for safety of others health and well being please follow the ways of social distancing and stay home.
We will reschedule Yoni Ki Baat for a later date in coordination with the planning teams for the 2nd Tasveer South Asian Literature Festival and the 15th Tasveer South Asian Film Festival.”
